Featured Wedding: Killian and Parker
June 11, 2022
Killian and Parker met through mutual friends in 2017. Shortly after they met Parker relocated to Chicago for a job opportunity. They decided to give long distance dating a try and continue their relationship.
They spent the next two and a half years driving endless miles between Toledo and Chicago. There were many phone calls, face time calls, and discussions of how they would ever end up in the same state again.
Over Christmas 2019 Parker surprised Killian with a letter that explained he would be relocating for his job again but thankfully this time to the Detroit region! With this move Killian and Parker could finally live in the same place.
In November 2020 Parker surprised Killian again with the sweetest gift of all. On a cold beach in Michigan he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.
Parker and Killian kept their whole day simple and classy with white and green as their primary colors and light blue accents.
The Bridal Party
Killian is a teacher and had her students help make their wedding decor. She framed their artwork about love and used it as table centerpieces for the reception.
